Preferred Experience / Qualifications

  • CPA
  • At least fifteen years of tax experience in public accounting
  • Significant experience with federal taxation for C corporations, partnerships, high net worth individuals and pass-through entities
  • Has risen to the level of partner, or to the level just below partner
  • Has the ability to leverage existing contacts and to develop new ones in order to maintain and grow the tax practice in Dallas
  • A demonstrated history of client satisfaction and strong relationship building skills
  • Able to attract, train, and retain tax professionals


To support continued growth and succession planning within the Firm, the Firm seeks an experienced tax professional to join their leadership team as a partner in the tax department. The primary focus is on federal taxation – corporations, partnerships and high net worth individuals. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Manage multiple federal income tax engagements including compliance and consulting services
  • Identify and deliver high-value tax planning strategies for clients
  • Manage and expand client relationships by providing timely and competent communication and value-added services
  • Participate in recruiting both entry level staff and experienced professionals
  • Develop and energize the tax staff and provide them with leadership, counseling and career guidance
  • Be a resource for the other partners, both tax and audit
  • Actively participate in business development activities – seeking to address new issues for existing clients and also pursuing new clients
  • Represent the firm at selected industry and community events
  • Provide thought leadership
  • Participate in the management of the office
